Janets practice includes, Georgia workers compensation injuries, Federal Long Shore Workers Compensation Injuries, Social Security Disability, Divorce and Child Custody matters along with claims for Social Security Disability. Prior to law school Janet worked as a nursing assistant and later trained with the seasoned physicians in the ER where she worked to fill a new role as a physicians assistant. Prior to going to law school Janet worked as a workers compensation paralegal for 12 years and now she represents injured workers combining her experience in the medical field with her experience as an attorney to maximize the value of her clients cases. Janet’s practice area also includes Federal Long Shore Workers Compensation Claims where she is able to represent injured workers in both their Georgia State based claims and the Federal claims. Janet also practices social security disability law and assists many clients with obtaining disability benefits. Fatima is finishing up her undergraduate degree and hopes to go on to law school at some point in the near future. Janet is excited to have Fatima onboard to assist in managing client cases.
